Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
SpecPick is made by OSHER MEVIN, INC. ("SpecPick", "we", "us"). This policy covers the SpecPick browser extension and the specpick.us website.
The short version
To rank your Amazon.com results, SpecPick sends your search words and the text of the listings to our server, which passes them to an AI model. Neither our server nor the model keeps them. We keep your email address and how many searches you have used, so the free and paid plans work.
What SpecPick reads in your browser
When you press "Let Picko help" on an Amazon.com search, SpecPick opens up to three result pages of that search in a minimized window. It reads the listings on them, such as titles, prices and ratings, and then closes those tabs. It does not open product pages. It does not read your cart, orders, Amazon account, addresses or payment details, and it does not read cookies.
What is sent to rank your results
Nothing is sent before you agree on SpecPick's consent screen. After that, each search sends:
- The words you searched for.
- Listing text from the result pages: each listing's title and the line under it, its price, rating and review count.
Listings are sent as numbers, not as Amazon product IDs. Page addresses and image addresses are never sent. Our server passes this to an AI model through OpenRouter, only on routes where the model provider keeps nothing and does not train on it. Our server does not log, store or cache it, and we do not build a product catalog.
Your account
You sign in with the Google account in your Chrome profile. We receive your email address and your Google account ID. We store them with the time you agreed, your plan, and for each month the number of searches you used and what the AI model cost. To count each search once, we keep a random ID for each search for two days. It says nothing about what you searched for.
Payments
Paid plans are handled by Stripe, on Stripe's own pages. We never see your card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID and the status and dates of your subscription. Stripe's privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.
What stays in your browser
Your sign-in session, a copy of your plan and search count, and the results of your current search are saved in your browser's local storage. Results are deleted after 24 hours, and at most three are kept. Whether the panel is open or minimized is saved in Chrome's sync storage, so it follows your Chrome profile.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare runs our server and database.
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider rank listings, with zero data retention.
- Google signs you in.
- Stripe handles payments.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, for personalization, or to decide creditworthiness or lending. We do not transfer it except as needed to run the service, as required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Our use of data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
Your account and search counts are kept until you delete your account. Search IDs are deleted after two days.
Your choices
- In SpecPick's settings, Delete account and data cancels any paid plan at once and deletes your account and search counts. Stripe keeps the billing records the law requires.
- Signing out removes your session from the browser.
- Removing the extension deletes everything it stored in your browser.
- For anything else, email [email protected].
Where data is stored
Data we keep is processed and stored in the United States.
Children
SpecPick is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes, and we will tell you in the extension about significant changes.
